In-Home Intensive Therapy
Currently Available in Central Florida

Weekly therapy is a good fit for a lot of people. But for some situations, weekly sessions aren't getting you where you want to be. An in-home intensive brings concentrated, expert-level care directly to you, creating the kind of progress that would otherwise take months.
Who This is For
In-home intensives are a good fit if you:
-
Have tried weekly therapy and feel stuck or like you aren't making the progress you need
-
Are dealing with OCD that is significantly impacting your home, daily routines, or relationships
-
Are carrying complex or untreated trauma and need more than a standard level of support to move through it
-
Need an immersive start to DBT and want to build skills in the context of your real life
-
Have a busy schedule that makes consistent weekly appointments difficult, but you can carve out dedicated time for intensive work
What A Typical Day Looks Like:
Treatment is built around your goals, your environment, and what you need. They typically consist of several consecutive days or weeks, although length and structure are always tailored to you.
A typical day usually includes:
-
A check in to review where you are what the day's focus will be
-
Active treatment sessions using evidence-based therapies
-
Real world practice where you need it most
-
Time to process and debrief
-
End of day review of progress and homework planning
Common Questions
Is in-home intensive treatment the same as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
No. Traditional IOP programs consist of a team with group-based treatment. It includes 9-15 hours of treatment per week, typically with only 1 hour of individual therapy. Intensive in-home treatment is more focused, individual therapy.
How long does an intensive typically last?
It varies by client and what we are treating. Some intensives run a few days, others several weeks. We'll figure out what makes sense for you depending on your goals, and when it's time to step down treatment levels.
Do you travel for intensives?
Yes, travel costs are included for up to 30 miles from the East Orlando area.
How is this different from regular in-home therapy?
Traditional in-home therapy typically sticks to weekly scheduled sessions. An intensive is around 4 hours per day, multiple days a week, designed to create meaningful progress in a shorter window of time.
Due to the high-touch nature of this work, I'm only able to take on a limited number of intensive clients at a time.
